New oil and gas reserves discovery a great boost

The new discoveries of oil and gas reserves in Abu Dhabi will further boost the UAE economy. WAM

It is extremely heartwarming to read that there were new oil and gas reserves discovered in Abu Dhabi. It will be a great boost for the economy. It underlines the UAE’s position  as a stable and major long-term provider of energy to the world.

The increase in reserves and new discoveries follows the company Adnoc’s extensive drilling of scores of new exploration and appraisal wells across Abu Dhabi’s conventional and unconventional oil and gas fields over the past few years.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces,  praised the firm for its strong performance as it delivers its 2030 strategy.

The start of production in new fields has enabled Adnoc to verify and further upgrade the originally expected reserves’ volumes.

Sheikh Mohamed said the achievement reinforces the important role the UAE plays and will continue to play in ensuring the security of energy supplies to global customers.
