His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, affirmed that the UAE’s foreign trade continued to achieve record growth rates, nearing Dhs3 trillion for the first time during the first nine months of 2026, up by 10 per cent compared to the same period last year.
In a post on his official account on X platform, Sheikh Mohammed stated that he had reviewed the report on the nation’s foreign trade for the first nine months of this year, noting that UAE exports to its top ten trading partners grew by 31 per cent compared to the same period last year.
These results were achieved during a year marked by numerous economic and political challenges and rapid shifts in global trade dynamics, he added, stressing the UAE’s continued commitment to consolidating its position as a key hub for international trade, notwithstanding the fluctuations witnessed in global markets.
The UAE is continuing to respond to all surrounding developments with flexibility and efficiency, leveraging its extensive network of trade relations and its capacity to adapt to global economic shifts, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of its foreign trade and opening new prospects for its exports, he said.
The UAE is continuing to strengthen its network of relationships with trade partners, expand its export markets and chart an accelerated path toward achieving sustainable economic growth with a view to reinforcing its position as a global hub for trade, business and investment, he added.
Sheikh Mohammed congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as well as the national task forces and partners on this achievement, commending their efforts in delivering economic results and strengthening the nation’s presence in global trade.
