Al Taawun Interchange partially open as Sultan opens new road project linking Sharjah to Dubai

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has inaugurated the first phase of a project to develop and construct new traffic corridors linking Sharjah to the Emirate of Dubai.
This phase includes the partial opening of the Al Taawun Interchange and the operating of several new bridges and junctions.
The first phase enables one-way traffic flow from Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Road towards Expo Centre Sharjah, improving visitor access and easing traffic, particularly during major events such as the Sharjah International Book Fair.
