Dubai Police have warned against the dangers of sudden lane changes, highlighting that this is a hazardous driving behaviour that threatens the safety of road users and can lead to serious traffic accidents, noting that motorists suddenly changing their lanes are slapped with a fine of Dhs1,000 and get 4 black points.
They urged drivers to remain within their designated lanes and to ensure the road is clear before attempting to change lanes, stressing the importance of abiding by traffic safety rules to protect both drivers and other road users.
