Zayed the Founder Day celebrates UAE unity, says Mohammed Bin Rashid

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said that the annual observance of Zayed the Founder Day on January 7 celebrates the UAE’s unity and union. It also honours the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, as the architect of the nation’s renaissance and a source of inspiration for generations.
His Highness explained that commemorating this day reflects deep pride in the UAE’s unity and preserves the memory of its founder, whose achievements laid the foundations for the nation’s progress and whose legacy continues to inspire its people.
He added that the founding father will remain in the hearts of future generations, with every corner of the UAE bearing witness to his enduring legacy. His children and grandchildren will continue to be guided by his vision, remain devoted to the nation he built, draw inspiration from his ideas, and cherish his compassion and love for the people.
His Highness prayed that God would bestow His mercy upon Sheikh Zayed and grant him a place in the highest realms of Paradise.
