The Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) has issued Administrative Circular no. 45 for 2026 regarding the recall of an affected batch of the product "Babies" Magic Tea – Baby Sleep Gripe Water.
EDE explained that the affected batch was recalled because the product contained undisclosed alcoholic ingredients and lacked valid marketing authorisation within the country.
EDE urged healthcare facilities and practitioners to comply with the circular issued regarding the product and to abide by the procedures for recalling the affected batch.
Regulatory and supervisory health sectors have issued directives to pharmaceutical establishments concerning the product recall.
