“We as a global audio tech company has strong believe in the people of UAE to present great resilience and avail the enormous amount of opportunities in the country. The growing trends of audio products have been increased in the UAE and region are live music, education, conferences, and hybrid learning.”
This was stated by Daniel Sennheiser, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sennheiser Group and the grandson of company founder Fritz Sennheiser, represents the third generation of the family-owned business.
He was addressing an exclusive gathering ‘A Sound Discussion with Daniel Sennheiser’ on Thursday at the New Covent Garden Theatre, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai. The gathering brought together guests to explore the company’s strategic direction, the future of professional audio and emerging opportunities across the Middle East and Africa (MEA).
The discussion looked at how professional audio is changing across live performance, broadcasting, business collaboration and content production. Each setting brings its own demands, whether it is delivering consistent sound at a live event, capturing audio for a broadcast or enabling clearer communication in a meeting room.
“For us, everything starts with understanding how our customers work, the challenges they face, and what they need from us. Being close to our customers and partners allows us to develop solutions that make their work simpler, more efficient, and more impactful. Here in the Middle East and Africa, this means listening to the specific requirements of each market and building the long-term relationships that enable us to create lasting value together,” said Daniel Sennheiser.
Talking on next generation of wireless audio, Daniel said “innovation in wireless technology like Spectera, Sennheiser’s bidirectional wideband wireless ecosystem. By bringing wireless microphones, in-ear monitoring, and control data together in a single ecosystem, Spectera significantly simplifies workflows for RF managers and audio teams in live and broadcast productions.”
As an independent, family-owned business, Sennheiser takes a long-term approach to innovation and development, prioritizing customer needs and building lasting relationships with industry partners. Its heritage and technical expertise provide a strong foundation, while continued investment in innovation, combined with close customer engagement, enables the company to respond to changing requirements across professional applications.
Responding a question, he said “the region’s diverse industries, including live entertainment, broadcasting, corporate communication, and content production, present opportunities for audio technology providers. Each of these fields places different demands on audio equipment and workflows, making local market knowledge and close regional relationships essential.”
Highlighting the future of immersive sound, he said “spatial and immersive audio are creating new possibilities for how audiences experience sound across entertainment, corporate communication, studio production, and other professional environments.”
The discussion examined how integrated wireless ecosystems can address the growing complexity of live and broadcast productions. Flexibility, reliable performance, and ease of use are particularly important when multiple microphones, performers, and technical teams are involved. These requirements continue to drive the evolution of professional wireless audio.
The Dubai meeting provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the priorities shaping Sennheiser’s future, from advancing professional audio and developing wireless and immersive technologies to strengthening customer partnerships and addressing regional opportunities. These conversations will continue to inform Sennheiser’s work in the Middle East and Africa as the company supports audio professionals across the region.
