Emirates has announced the cancellation of its flights from Dubai to King Khalid International Airport (Riyadh), Jeddah International Airport, and King Fahd International Airport (Dammam) for Sunday and Monday. This update is based on flight schedules available on the airline's website.
For Sunday, the affected flights include EK815, EK819, and EK817 bound for Riyadh, along with flights EK803, EK801, and EK805 to Jeddah, and EK827, EK823, and EK821 heading to King Fahd Airport in Dammam. Additionally, all flights scheduled for tomorrow (Monday) on these routes have also been cancelled.
In a related development, flydubai has confirmed suspensions of its flights to Riyadh through October 14, including those scheduled for that day. A spokesperson stated that the airline is closely monitoring the situation in coordination with relevant authorities.
Passengers impacted by these changes will be notified of updates or alternative arrangements via the airline's official channels. Flydubai advised customers affected by the cancellations to use the "Manage Booking" section on their website to explore options for rebooking or refunds. Those who booked through travel agents should directly contact their agents for assistance.
Both airlines expressed regret for the disruption, with flydubai extending its appreciation to passengers for their understanding amidst these challenges.
