The UAE has urged its citizens in the Republic of Panama to exercise caution following two strong earthquakes, measuring 7.7 and 6.6 in magnitude, which struck southern Panama on Friday afternoon. The quakes, accompanied by numerous aftershocks, caused buildings near the epicenter to collapse, triggered evacuations across the country, and raised concerns about potential tsunamis.
The Mission highlighted the necessity of following the safety guidelines provided by the relevant authorities and recommended reaching out to the numbers 0097180024 or 0097180044444 in case of emergencies.
