Air Arabia has temporarily suspended its flights from Sharjah International Airport to Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport on Saturday and Sunday, October 10 and 11, 2026.
As per the airline’s operational schedules, the cancellations impact daily flights G9151 and G9154, originally planned for those dates. In addition, Air Arabia has also canceled flight G9634 to Tabuk, which was scheduled for October 11, and its daily flight G9195 departing from Abu Dhabi to Abha on both Saturday and Sunday.
Services are expected to resume on Monday, October 12, pending any additional changes to the flight schedule.
Meanwhile, Emirates, Etihad, and flydubai have also halted flights to Riyadh and other Saudi airports as of Friday. These suspensions will remain in effect through October 11, following a statement from Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) regarding two attacks on King Khalid International Airport on October 8.
These developments highlight the importance of operational adaptability among national carriers in responding to such unexpected events, prioritizing the safety of passengers and crew while maintaining flexible scheduling.
