Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) celebrated World Teachers' Day through field visits to a number of schools, in appreciation of the dedication of teachers, and their pivotal role in building generations, developing knowledge, and consolidating positive values and behaviors in society.
During the visits, ADP honoured a number of teachers, in appreciation of those with distinguished experience and competence in the educational field, and in pride of their continuous efforts and contributions in performing their educational and pedagogical mission.
The visits also included sharing the joy of this occasion with the educational staff inside the classrooms, and offering congratulations and symbolic gifts to them, in addition to meeting school principals and expressing appreciation for the role played by educational institutions in preparing generations that are aware, confident in their abilities, adherent to their values and identity, and capable of keeping pace with future requirements and contributing to the development process.
ADP stressed that celebrating World Teachers' Day reflects the appreciation for the teacher's role and noble mission, and their influence in nurturing generations and enhancing students' awareness and social responsibility.
