To mark World Teachers’ Day, Dr Muhadditha Yahya Al Hashimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Private Education Authority and President of Sharjah Education Academy, says, “On World Teachers’ Day, we celebrate the teachers who are at the heart of education and who play an essential role in preparing generations with the knowledge, skills and confidence to embrace the future. The role of a teacher today extends far beyond imparting knowledge; teachers help shape students’ character, develop their potential, and nurture a lifelong love of learning and discovery.
"In Sharjah, teachers are central to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, which places education and human development at the heart of the emirate’s progress.

"Guided by this vision, the Sharjah Private Education Authority and Sharjah Education Academy support teachers throughout their professional journey, from preparation and qualification to continuous professional development, research and the exchange of expertise.
"We believe that investing in teachers is a direct investment in the quality of education and in the future of generations to come.
"On this occasion, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting teachers and investing in their professional growth. To every teacher, I say: your impact may begin in a classroom, but it does not end at its door. We see it in a student who discovers their potential, in an idea that begins with a question, and in an ambition brought closer to reality. When we invest in you, we invest in the generations who will shape Sharjah’s future.”
