Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), hoisted the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Programme for Government Services flag for the year 2025 at "Al Shera'a", DEWA’s new headquarters, in the presence of a delegation from the Executive Council of Dubai presided by Dr Hazza Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Assistant Secretary General for the Excellence and Government Services Sector, and a number of officials concerned.
This crowning came as a result of DEWA achieving the highest results in the "Services 360" policy, and its success in providing proactive and innovative services which rely on the latest digital technologies to simplify the customer journey and enhance their quality of life.
Al Tayer stressed that the achievement translates the vision of the wise leadership, expressing gratitude to Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council, for his continuous support.
Al Tayer also valued the efforts of the Dubai Model Centre, and praised the efforts of the work teams at DEWA, confirming the continued investment in artificial intelligence to achieve new levels of global excellence.
Al Tayer explained that DEWA adopts an integrated framework for customer happiness by employing artificial intelligence and advanced data analysis to anticipate needs and provide personalised and proactive digital experiences and services. He added that the civic body achieved 100% of the "Services 360" agenda targets and the inclusion of services through unified channels. It implemented14 million digital transactions annually, improved 22 services and merged 8 others, in support of Dubai's investment projects, and in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and the Clean Energy and Net Zero Carbon 2050 strategies.
Performance indicators recorded exceptional results, including 100% in service delivery automation, provision of self-services, and resolution of customer feedback; 99.6% in digital adoption, 98.9% in the instantaneous happiness index, and 98.4% for the general trust level, while achieving 98% happiness for people of determination and service partners, and 97.5% service quality in the call centre, Al Tayer indicated.
