The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) expects partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy conditions across the UAE on Friday, particularly over the eastern and southern areas, with a chance of light rain.
Winds are forecast to be light to moderate, becoming fresh at times and potentially stirring up dust, especially in exposed areas. The NCM said winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, ranging from 10 to 25 km/h and reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h at times.
The Arabian Gulf is expected to be rough at times during the morning before becoming moderate to slight later in the day. Conditions in the Sea of Oman are forecast to remain slight.
Temperatures are expected to vary across the country. Abu Dhabi will see temperatures between 30°C and 40°C, while Dubai will record between 29°C and 39°C. Sharjah is expected to range from 29°C to 40°C, with temperatures in Ajman between 28°C and 39°C.
Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah will see temperatures between 29°C and 38°C, while Fujairah will range from 30°C to 34°C. Al Ain is expected to record 32°C to 40°C, and Liwa 30°C to 40°C.
Ruwais will see temperatures between 24°C and 37°C, Al Sila between 27°C and 39°C, and Dalma between 30°C and 37°C.
