Abu Dhabi's Al Wathba fire brought under control, no injuries reported

Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters on Wednesday said its teams, along with the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, successfully managed a fire that erupted on Wednesday at a waste collection site in the Al Wathba area.

In a statement posted on its official account on X, Abu Dhabi Police said the incident occurred on Wednesday, Sept.30, 2026. Emergency teams were deployed to the site to deal with the blaze and contain the situation.
