Sheikh Sultan orders swift action to support a mother who wants to retire to look after her daughter

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, instructed the Department of Human Resources to swiftly address the situation of "Umm Omran," who raised her concern on the "Direct Line" programme.

Sheikh Sultan stressed the importance of fully supporting her and her daughter, ensuring all their needs are met.

During a broadcast on the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, hosted by Mohammed Khalaf, the Director General, "Umm Omran" expressed her wish to retire to care for her daughter, "Dhabya," who suffers from health issues and is unable to move.

"Umm Omran," aged 55, mentioned that she had worked for 15 years at an organisation that transitioned from the government to the private sector, but her retirement request was denied because she hadn't met the required service length.

After hearing "Umm Omran's" call, the Ruler of Sharjah promptly directed Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Head of the Department, to resolve the matter. Al Zaabi conveyed His Highness’s reassurances and personal concern, committing to a swift resolution.
