Sharjah Ladies Club and its branches are set to participate in World Wellness Weekend 2026 for the eighth consecutive year, taking place from 18 to 20 September as part of the global celebration. The three-day programme will bring together a range of activities across the Club’s facilities, focusing on health, wellbeing and relaxation.
Shaikha Al Suwaidi, Director of Sharjah Ladies Club, said: "At Sharjah Ladies Club, we are committed to providing initiatives and experiences that support women’s health and quality of life, in line with the vision of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of Sharjah Family and Community Council, to support women and families. Through this event, we aim to encourage women to prioritise their health and wellbeing and adopt a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.
"We are proud of the global recognition the Club has received over five consecutive years, beginning with the Wellness Champion title for three consecutive years, followed by Wellness Hero 2024, and most recently Outstanding Wellness Hero 2025 and the Wellness Leadership Certificate. These achievements reflect our team’s continued efforts to deliver meaningful programmes that support women’s health and wellbeing while contributing to the wider community."
The programme begins on 18 September with experiences that combine movement, relaxation and self-care. Participants can start their day with a complimentary yoga session, while girls aged 8 to 16 can explore aerial yoga with Collage Talent Center. There are "Feel-Good Bowls ", and complimentary beauty and wellness consultations, creating a balanced experience centred on movement, wellbeing and self-care. On 19 September, the programme continues with a complimentary session while Collage Talent Center will offer a “Creative Corner”, giving children an opportunity to enjoy their time as part of the event.
The programme concludes on 20 September with a complimentary " Stress Management and Body Health " session, alongside a complimentary Bootcamp session and aerial yoga for girls. Basateen Preschool Center will also offer a variety of wellness-focused workshops for children aged 3 to 10, supporting their health and wellbeing.
Alongside the programme, the Club will offer special benefits and offers, including complimentary beach access and a dedicated morning membership for mothers.
The programme will also extend to Sharjah Ladies Club branches. Al Dhaid Branch will offer complimentary access to gym equipment and swimming on Saturday, 19 September, while Dibba Al Hisn Branch will provide both experiences free of charge on Sunday, 20 September, giving women further opportunities to enjoy a variety of fitness and wellness activities across the Club’s branches.
