Abu Dhabi Police have released footage highlighting the risk of crossing the road from non-designated areas.
Abu Dhabi Police called on drivers and pedestrians to adhere to traffic safety rules, warning of the dangers of crossing roads from non-designated areas due to the run-over accidents this may cause.
The police also appealed to drivers to exercise caution and pay attention to pedestrians and reduce speed near crossing areas, while urging pedestrians to use designated crossings, bridges, and tunnels, and to comply with pedestrian traffic signals, to enhance their safety and the safety of road users.
