Abu Dhabi Police honour community members for rescuing others

Brigadier Nasser Sulaiman Al Maskari, Director of the Central Operations Sector at the Abu Dhabi Police, honoured a group of community members for their bravery, heroism, and humanity in response to emergencies and accidents. Their quick actions and sense of duty were crucial in saving lives and improving safety.

The Abu Dhabi Police praised the community members for their prompt action during emergencies.

Among those recognised was Yusra Qasim Ahmed Awtli, who, despite being injured in a school bus accident, took charge by calming the children, organising their evacuation, and ensuring their well-being until help arrived.

Also honoured were Nabil Ali Saleh Al Baloushi and Khalid Ali Abdullah Al Mansouri for their courageous efforts in rescuing two people trapped in vehicles that caught fire in separate traffic incidents. Additionally, Mohammed Waqar Zulfiqar Ali received recognition for reporting and removing a road hazard, thus preventing potential traffic accidents.

Community members were hailed for their quick actions and sense of duty were crucial in saving lives and improving safety.

Brigadier Al Maskari commended these commendable actions, highlighting how they embody values of courage, solidarity, and social responsibility. He emphasised the importance of collaboration between police and the community in safeguarding lives and maintaining security and safety.
