Diplomatic relations should not be handled through ambiguities and lack of foresight: Gargash

Dr Anwar Bin Mohammed Gargash, the Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, emphasised on Thursday that the essence of diplomatic relations lies in rationality, communication, and well-defined interests, instead of relying on cryptic signals.

In a tweet on the X platform, Gargash mentioned that diplomatic ties should never be influenced by internal conflicts or an inability to express interests and set priorities.

He further explained that ambiguity does not constitute a policy, and creating noise is no substitute for having a clear vision.

For diplomacy to succeed, it must be based on transparent positions and skillful management of interests and differences, as anything else reveals a lack of vision and management skills.
