73 civilians injured in Houthi terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia has strongly denounced the Houthi militia's attacks on civilian and economic sites in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran, which have injured 73 people, including women and children. The Kingdom also condemned the targeting of commercial vessels in the Red Sea by the militia, as this poses a threat to international maritime navigation.

In a statement via the official Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Arabia reiterated its firm rejection of the hostile and criminal actions of the militia, which threaten the security and stability of Yemen and its Arab and Islamic neighbours. The Kingdom consistently opposes all efforts for peace that are undermined by the militia's behaviour.

Reaffirming its legitimate right, Saudi Arabia is prepared to take all necessary actions to defend its sovereignty, protect national assets, and ensure the safety of its people. It stressed that it will not tolerate any aggression against its territory or resources, in line with international law. The Kingdom warned of the severe implications of the Houthi militia's ongoing attacks on civilians and infrastructure, calling for an immediate de-escalation of their activities threatening maritime security.

Saudi Arabia urged the global community to fulfill its duties and enforce relevant Security Council resolutions, specifically Resolution 2216 (2015) and Resolution 2722 (2024).
