His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, directed the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) through the "Direct Line" programme to continue accepting Sudanese students at the "Sudan Private School" in Sharjah city, without collecting any tuition fees.
This school was reportedly built on Sheikh Sultan's orders specifically to educate the Sudanese who are financially weak, and Sheikh Sultan's directives also included the refund of any nominal fees previously collected from them during the current academic year, to ensure no additional burdens are placed on them.
This noble humanitarian gesture reflects Sheikh Sultan's continuous keenness to support the exceptional circumstances faced by the Sudanese community, to ensure the stability of their children's educational journey and to alleviate financial burdens from the shoulders of parents in the emirate.
