UAE weather body predicts rain to continue in parts of the country till Saturday

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts the appearance of cumulus clouds on Tuesday, bringing rainfall and strong winds that may become gusty, leading to dust and sand, which will reduce horizontal visibility.

The NCM noted that these weather conditions will start at 1:30 PM and last until 10:00 PM, impacting some eastern and southern regions and spreading to certain inland areas. Additionally, the center anticipates cumulus clouds and rain on Wednesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday, the weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy with some cumulus clouds forming in the east and south during the afternoon, extending to some inland areas with rain. Thursday may see humidity in some western coastal regions, with a possibility of light fog. Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally becoming active to strong with the clouds, causing dust and sand. The sea conditions will be calm in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

On Thursday, the weather will be clear to partly cloudy, with a chance of cumulus clouds developing in the east and south by the afternoon, possibly bringing rain. Winds will be southeasterly to northwesterly, with light to moderate speeds that can occasionally become brisk and strong, leading to dust storms. Wind speeds are expected to range between 15 to 30 km/h, reaching up to 45 km/h. The sea conditions will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Friday's forecast predicts clear to partly cloudy skies, with the potential for cumulus clouds forming in the east during the afternoon. Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, but may occasionally increase to brisk levels, causing dust storms. Wind speeds will vary from 10 to 25 km/h, with peak gusts up to 40 km/h. The sea will continue to be slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

The weather on Saturday is expected to be clear to partly cloudy, with some cumulus clouds possibly forming in the east in the afternoon, which might bring rain. Winds will be southeasterly turning to northeasterly, maintaining light to moderate speeds, but could become active and stir up dust. Wind speeds are anticipated to be from 10 to 25 km/h, with possible bursts reaching up to 40 km/h. The sea conditions will remain calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
