Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) continues its efforts in caring for and empowering approximately 2,800 orphans and 1,100 families among its members in Sharjah City and the Central and Eastern Regions, through a comprehensive developmental system which responds to their economic, social, educational, and psychological needs, contributing to improving their quality of life and enhancing their stability.
The sponsorship projects implemented by SSEF provide continuous financial support which takes into account the families' actual needs and circumstances, assisting them in meeting living obligations and enhancing their ability to transition gradually from the stage of need to stability and self-reliance.
The participation of community members in regular monthly contributions also helps make the support process growing and more sustainable, enabling the foundation to plan its services and continue implementing empowerment pathways efficiently, according to Mona Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, SSEF’s Director General.
Al Suwaidi said: "Sponsorship projects represent a sustainable path to support the stability of members and their families and accompany them through various stages of empowerment.
