The Sharjah Police General Command, in partnership with Noon, is getting ready to introduce a new service aimed at collecting vehicle license plates from customers and delivering them to the Traffic and Licensing Service Centres under the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department.
With this service, once implemented, customers will be able to finalize licensing transactions that require handing down vehicle license plates to service centers without having to be there in person. This can be achieved by utilizing the approved digital services available at the Traffic and Licensing Service Centres or through the Ministry of Interior's "MOI UAE" application.
The new service mechanism involves giving vehicle license plates to a Noon representative, who will then deliver them to traffic and licensing service centres. Once the plates are received, customers will get a text message confirming receipt, allowing them to complete their transactions online via the Ministry of Interior's smart apps and the traffic and licensing service centers.
This service is designed to streamline the customer journey by reducing the need to visit service centres, linking field procedures with digital channels for a comprehensive experience. It aims to facilitate flexible and efficient transaction completion and advance the use of technology in enhancing traffic services provided by the Sharjah Police General Command.
