Rumours of UAE work permit cancellations, financial aid to Iran unfounded, says Gargash

The UAE effectively counters rumours and misinformation by demonstrating concrete actions and accomplishments, according to Dr. Anwar Bin Mohammed Gargash, the Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President. On Wednesday morning, he stressed that claims regarding the cancellation of work permits for employees or providing financial aid to Iran are false and stem from media campaigns driven by desperation.

On his X platform, Gargash pointed out that some platforms are attempting to spread false narratives about the UAE. In response, the nation remains focused on managing regional developments and preparing for future challenges. He underscored that the UAE's strategy involves relying on substantial actions and tangible accomplishments to refute such claims.

Further, he indicated that rumours concerning matters like cancelling work permits or providing financial facilities to Iran are merely inaccurate information arising from ineffective media efforts. Gargash stressed that genuine facts and significant achievements will always overshadow rumours, asserting that meaningful action speaks louder than any form of misinformation.
