Situation is currently safe, Ministry of Interior confirms

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has declared the situation safe, while highlighting the importance of remaining vigilant. In their statement, the Ministry expressed gratitude for public cooperation, assuring everyone that the situation is under control and normal activities can be resumed, with a reminder to stay cautious and keep updated on any changes.

The statement was, "Thank you for your cooperation. We assure you that the situation is currently safe. You may resume your normal activities, while continuing to remain cautious and take the necessary precautionary, and to follow official instructions."

This followed a statement by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) reporting that the air defence systems identified a missile threat targeting the country. The Ministry of Defense clarified that any noises were from the air defence systems intercepting and engaging with the threat

The Ministry emphasised its preparedness to address any danger, committed to safeguarding the nation's sovereignty, security, and stability.
