Rain of varying intensity fell over separate areas of the UAE on Tuesday, including Margham in Dubai, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), which indicated that rains will fall in the east and south on Today’s afternoon, with a drop in temperatures tomorrow, Thursday.
Temperatures in the country recorded on Tuesday 50.3°C in both Madinat Zayed in Al Dhafra region at 15:15, and Mezaira’a in Al Dhafra region at 15:30 local time, which is the highest recorded in the UAE, according to the NCM.
The NCM also expected that Wednesday's weather will be clear to partly cloudy, with a chance of some convective clouds forming in the east and south in the afternoon accompanied by rainfall, and humid in the morning over some western areas with the probability of fog or light fog formation. Winds, according to the NCM will be southeasterly shifting to northwesterly light to moderate and active and stirring dust at times, with speed ranging from 10 to 25, amounting to 40 km/h, and the sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
The NCM also expected Thursday's weather to be clear to partly cloudy with the probability of some convective clouds forming in the east in the afternoon, and humid in the morning over some coastal areas with the probability of light fog formation, and a drop in temperatures. Winds, the NCM said, will be southeasterly shifting to northwesterly light to moderate, active and dust stirring in the west, with speeds ranging between 10 to 25, amounting to 40 km/h, and the sea will be light to moderate becoming rough at times to the west in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Oman Sea.
Friday's weather will be clear to partly cloudy, with clouds appearing in the east in the afternoon, and humid in the morning over some coastal areas, and winds will be southeasterly shifting to northwesterly light to moderate, with speeds ranging between 10 to 20, amounting to 30 km/h, and the sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea, the NCM stated.
Saturday's weather according to the NCM, will be clear to occasionally partly cloudy, and humid in the morning over some coastal areas with the probability of fog or light fog formation, with clouds appearing in the east in the afternoon, which may be convective, and winds will be southeasterly shifting to northwesterly light to moderate, with speeds ranging between 10 to 20, amounting to 30 km/h, and the sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
