Sharjah Police honour Arab resident for collaboration with security teams

The Sharjah Police General Command recognised an Arab resident for his outstanding security awareness, community vigilance, and responsible collaboration with the security departments. This recognition underscores the essential partnership between community members and security forces and highlights the important role it plays in enhancing safety and preventing crime. 

In the presence of Colonel Hamid Saeed Bin Sahouh, Director of the Commercial Areas Police Department, the resident was honoured for his keen awareness and strong sense of community responsibility. After noticing suspicious activity, he stayed calm and observant, promptly informing the relevant security authorities. His swift action enabled them to take necessary measures in accordance with established security protocols. 

The Command underscored the crucial role that community vigilance and awareness play in enhancing security efforts. Such attentiveness by residents supports the prompt response to any suspicious activities.

The Command lauded the resident's responsible behaviour, highlighting that acknowledging his actions aligns with their commitment to celebrate positive community figures who understand their role in public safety. They further stressed that maintaining security and stability is a collective responsibility, requiring collaboration between security bodies and the engagement of the community. 

They encouraged residents to call 999 for emergencies and 901 for non-urgent queries, stressing the importance of not directly confronting or intervening in situations, leaving such actions to the appropriately trained security professionals.
