The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat has announced that UAE citizens interested in performing Hajj for the 1448 AH/2027 CE season can begin registering on September 14th. Registration will be available through the Authority's smart application and website until September 25th.
The Authority has explained that pilgrims will be chosen through an automated screening system, in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. (32) of 2018, and based on specific criteria and conditions. The selection process and announcement of approved pilgrims are scheduled for October 9th. Following this, the selected individuals will be contacted to complete the necessary procedures.
The Authority emphasized its commitment to early preparations for the Hajj season, adhering to the approved timeline, and completing all essential steps for registration and screening. Additionally, it has been focused on developing ambitious strategic plans to provide excellent services to pilgrims both domestically and in the Holy Lands, ensuring they can perform this important pillar of Islam with peace and satisfaction.
It was also noted that the success and outstanding performance of the UAE Hajj Affairs Office in previous seasons were due to ongoing development, performance evaluation, innovation, and effective use of available resources. These efforts are aimed at enhancing services for pilgrims, in line with the UAE’s directives and its visionary leadership to ensure the welfare of all community members.
