Abu Dhabi Family, Civil and Administrative Cases Court ordered a man to pay Dhs40,000 in compensation to another.
Earlier, a man filed a lawsuit against another in which he requested the court to obligate him to pay Dhs150,000 as compensation for material and moral harms he had befallen plus legal interest of 9 per cent from the date of filing the lawsuit until full payment and the incurred charges, expenses and lawyer’s fees.
The plaintiff pleaded that the defendant deliberately insulted him and illegally included his name in criminal reports and lawsuits by filing a criminal report in which he accused him of forging his signature on a document exempting him from late payment fines, which resulted in direct criminal proceedings against the plaintiff.
The Forensic evidence report concluded that the signature on the original document belonged to the defendant and consequently, the Public Prosecution administratively dismissed the complaint filed against the plaintiff after it was proved to be false.
