Rains of varying intensity fell across several regions of the UAEfor the second consecutive day on Saturday.
Al Madam area in Sharjah, Sa’a and Khatm Al Shiklah in Al Ain, as well as Mahafiz and Al Faya areas in the Central Region of Sharjah experienced rain, amid cloudy conditions and water accumulations on some roads.
Some areas reportedly experienced active winds which stirred dust and led to reduced horizontal visibility, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), which predicted rainfall in some eastern, southern, and inland areas Saturday and for a period of 3 days, with a gradual decrease in temperatures, especially on the coasts, next Tuesday.
Sunday's weather is predicted by the NCM to be fair to partly cloudy, with convective clouds forming in the afternoon over some eastern, southern, and inland areas accompanied by rainfall, and winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed, and active to strong at times with clouds, stirring up dust, with speeds of 15 to 30, amounting to 50 km/h, and the sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.

Monday's weather is predicted to be clear to partly cloudy, with a chance of convective clouds forming in the afternoon over some eastern and southern areas accompanied by rainfall, and winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed, active at times and stirring up dust, with speeds of 10 to 25, amounting to 40 km/h, and the sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
Tuesday's weather, according to the NCM, will be clear to partly cloudy at times, with some clouds appearing in the east in the afternoon along with a gradual decrease in temperatures, especially on the coasts.
The NCM also predicted southeasterly winds shifting to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, active at times and stirring up dust, with speeds of 10 to 25, amounting to 40 km/h, and the sea will be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman.
Wednesday's weather will be clear to partly cloudy at times, with the possibility of some convective clouds forming in the east in the afternoon which may be accompanied by rainfall, the NCM stated, adding that winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed, active at times and stirring up dust, with speeds of 10 to 25, amounting to 40 km/h, and the sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
