Moderate to heavy rain fell on Tuesday on a number of areas in UAE including Al Haniya, Waseela, Udhun and Al Manama in southern Ras Al Khaimah, Al Madam in Sharjah and Thoban in Fujairah.
Rain are expected to continue on Wednesday on the eastern and southern areas and possibly on some inland areas until next Saturday, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The Ministry of Interior urged drivers to take caution while driving under rains of varying intensity, active winds and low horizontal visibility.
The weather on Wednesday will be partly cloudy and some cumulus clouds are likely to form over some eastern and southern areas in the afternoon, accompanied by rains.
Light to moderate southeasterly to northwesterly winds will blow, turning to active and dust-stirring at times at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
Thursday's weather is expected to be partly cloudy and some cumulus clouds are likely to form over some eastern and southern areas in the afternoon, accompanied by rains.
