Sheikh Sultan directed employment of 1,524 citizens and children of female citizens by July end

In implementation of the directives of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, Sharjah Department of Human Resources (SDHR) announced the employment of 1,524 citizens and children of female citizens from Jan.5, 2026 until July 30, 2026.

According to Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Chairman of Sharjah Department of Human Resources, 871 of these citizens and children of female citizens were employed in centralized entities and 653 in decentralized entities and 831 of these were males and 693 were females.

“Starting tomorrow, we will begin targeting job applications registered with SDHR to complete the 2026 employment plan, bringing the total number to 3,000 jobs,” Al Zaabi added.
