Rain to hit UAE's eastern and southern areas on Monday and Tuesday

Cumulus clouds, accompanied by rains, are expected to form over the eastern and southern areas on Monday and Tuesday afternoon due to the country being affected by the extension of a surface low-pressure system from the east, accompanied by the extension of a low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The weather on Saturday will be clear to partly cloudy with clouds appearing in the east and south in the afternoon. Light to moderate southeasterly to northwesterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 20 and up to 30 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Sunday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy with clouds appearing in the east in the afternoon. Light to moderate southeasterly to northwesterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 20 and up to 35 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Monday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy and some cumulus clouds are likely to form in the east and south, accompanied by rains in the afternoon. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active and dust-stirring at times at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Tuesday’s weather will be partly cloudy in general and some cumulus clouds are likely to form in the east and south, accompany by rains. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active and dust-stirring at times at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
