Hail, rain hit Masafi as NCM expects cloudy weather for next three days in parts of UAE

Rains and hail fell on Monday afternoon on Masafi in the Eastern Region as a result of the country being affected by the extension of a surface low-pressure system from the east, accompanied by the extension of a low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere.

Cumulus clouds are expected to continue to form over the internal, eastern and southern areas, accompanied by rains over the coming three days, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The weather Tuesday will be clear to partly cloudy and some cumulus clouds are likely to form in the east and over some inland areas, accompanied by rains.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northwesterly winds will blow, turning to active to strong and dust-stirring at times at 10 to 25 and up to 45 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Wednesday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy and some cumulus clouds are likely to form in the east, possibly accompanied by rains in the afternoon.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Thursday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy and some cumulus clouds are likely to form in the east and south, possibly accompanied by rains, with a slight rise in temperature.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Friday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy with clouds, possibly cumulus, appearing in the east and south in the afternoon.

Light to moderate northeasterly to northwesterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 20 and up to 35 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
