Beit Al Khair spends Dhs122.5 million on charitable projects during first half

 Beit Al Khair Society announced that its spending on charitable projects during the first half of 2026 totaled Dhs122,523,804 as part of its efforts to enhance social solidarity and support needy families and deserving cases in all emirates of the country.

The society’s financial data showed that spending included Dhs50,495,072 for zakat expenditures and Dhs72,028,732 for charity projects, covering multiple fields that met the needs of all deserving groups.

As far as zakat expenditures are concerned, emergency aid topped the list of expenditures with Dhs37.9 million, followed by monthly aid to families with Dhs4.3 million, Eid money with Dhs3.7 million, debtors fund with Dhs2.3 million, Zakat al-Fitr with Dhs1.6 million and monthly support for people of determination with Dhs684,000.

In terms of charity projects, Ramadan projects topped the list of spending with Dhs30.3 million, followed by Ilaaj project worth Dhs13.3 million, emergency charity worth Dhs13 million, sponsoring and caring for orphans with Dhs5.9 million, food project with over Dhs5 million, supporting student project with Dhs2.1 million, sacrificial animal project with Dhs1.5 million and a number of other charitable initiatives.

These results embodied Beit Al Khair Society’s commitment to continuing to develop its humanitarian programmes and expand its societal impact through rapid response to emergencies, support for low-income families and provision of health, educational and nutritional support to deserving groups, thereby enhancing the values of solidarity and giving in Emirati society.

Meanwhile, the society expressed its appreciation and thanks to the partners, supporters and benefactors for their continuous contributions and confidence in its programmes, stressing that this support represented an essential pillar in the success of its charitable projects and reaching the largest possible number of beneficiaries.
