Make-A-Wish Foundation brings smiles on the faces 80 children suffering from critical illnesses

Make-A-Wish Foundation announced that it has granted 80 wishes for children facing critical illnesses thanks to its cooperation with more than 46 private schools in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi during the 2025-2026 academic year.

The foundation stated that this achievement was the result of a series of awareness events and purposeful school activities organised by the schools in cooperation with the foundation, aiming to support wish-granting and enhance students' awareness of the values of giving, empathy, and social responsibility.

The foundation also affirmed that the participation of schools contributed to spreading an influential humanitarian message among students, introducing them to the positive impact a wish can leave on the life of a child facing a critical illness by giving them hope, strength, and joy during their treatment journey.

Hani Al Zubaidi, CEO of Make-A-Wish Foundation, said: We are proud of the cooperation of private schools in Abu Dhabi and their role in granting 80 wishes for children facing critical illnesses. This support did not only create moments of joy for the children and their families, but also contributed to instilling the values of giving and social responsibility in students.

He added: Every wish granted gives the child hope, strength, and joy, and affirms that the cooperation of community institutions is capable of making a real impact in the lives of children and their families.
