Rain lashed Al Qu'a area south of Al Ain, according to the Storm Centre for weather monitoring and climate change.
The Centre also announced that drizzle fell over some areas of Fujairah and the city of Khor Fakkan in Sharjah.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) expects Friday's weather to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with the possibility of some convective clouds forming in the east and south.
Winds, according to the NCM will be southeasterly to northeasterly light to moderate in speed, active at times, with a speed ranging between 10 to 25, amounting to 35 km/h.
The sea will be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman, the NCM reported.
Saturday's weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy at times, with some clouds appearing in the east and south which may be convective, and humid at night and on Sunday morning over some coastal areas, the NCM indicated.
It added that winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly light to moderate in speed and active at times.
