UAE weather body expects rain in eastern and southern areas for next couple of days

The weather on Wednesday and Thursday is expected to be clear to partly cloudy and some cumulus clouds are likely to form in the east and south, possibly accompanied by rains, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active and dust-stirring at times at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf compared to regular to moderate waves and possibly rough at times offshore in the morning in the Sea of Oman.

Thursday's weather will be partly cloudy and some cumulus clouds are likely to form in the east and south, possibly accompanied by rains. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 25 and up to 35 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Saturday’s weather will be humid in some coastal and inland areas in the morning and light fog is likely to form but will be clear to partly cloudy with clouds appearing in the east and south. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at 10 to 25 and up to 35 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
