Sharjah Municipality urges owners to recover impounded cars in 4 days

Sharjah Municipality has called on owners of vehicles, machinery and motorcycles that have been impounded for more than six months without the necessary procedures being completed for their release to visit the Control and Inspection Department within four days to remove the reasons for impoundment, or they will be sold at a public auction.

“Owners of vehicles, machinery, motorcycles and bicycles impounded for more than six months without the necessary procedures being completed for their release are requested to visit the Control and Inspection Department in Industrial Area 5 within four days of date to remove the reasons for impoundment and retrieve their impounded items,” Sharjah Municipality stated on its account on X platform.

Sharjah Municipality clarified that it would be forced to sell the impounded items at a public auction after the aforementioned deadline elapses on July 9, 2026.
