VIDEO: Sheikh Mohammed praises Atlas Lions after historic Quarter-Final qualification

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated Morocco on their historic football achievement after the Atlas Lions secured qualification to the FIFA World Cup quarter-finals.

In a message marking the team’s victory, Sheikh Mohammed praised the squad’s determination, describing their performance as a source of pride for the Arab world. 

“Heartfelt congratulations to the Atlas Lions on today’s victory and their qualification for the World Cup quarter-finals. A powerful performance and a fighting spirit that fill us with joy and pride. Congratulations to the brotherly people of Morocco and to my brother, His Majesty King Mohammed VI. We wish them every success in their upcoming matches,” he said.

The UAE leader’s message reflected strong regional solidarity, as he extended greetings to Morocco’s leadership and people, wishing the team continued success in the tournament.

Morocco’s win and progression to the last eight has been widely celebrated across the Arab world, with the Atlas Lions continuing their impressive run on the global stage.
