Al Ain court orders typing center to pay woman Dhs12,200 for delaying visa renewal process

Al Ain Civil, Commercial, and Administrative Cases Court ordered a typing center to pay a woman Dhs12,200 for delaying renewal of her residency visa.

The case details indicated that a woman filed a lawsuit against a typing center, demanding that it be compelled to refund the amount she paid for her residency renewal and to compensate her Dhs10,000 for the material and moral damages she incurred.

The plaintiff stated that she was residing in the UAE, and as her residency visa was nearing expiration, she went to a typing center to initiate the renewal procedures.

She paid the required amount for the renewal, but the typing center failed to fulfill its obligation, and this failure resulted in accumulated fines totalling Dhs15,700.

She also demanded Dhs10,000 in compensation for the damage she incurred as a result, with the typing office being ordered to cover the fees.
