Sheikh Sultan approves new administrative divisions for Kalba, promotes Sharjah's top cop

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved the new administrative divisions for Kalba.
The city of Kalba and its surrounding area now comprise four suburbs; namely, Khor Kalba, Al Furaish, Al Dahiyat and Al Soor.
Separately, Sheikh Sultan has issued an Emiri Decree regarding the promotion of the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police (SP).
The decree stipulates the promotion of Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, to the rank of Lieutenant General, effective from the date of issuance of the decree.
