We salute every father who cares for his family, opens doors of hope for his children, says UAE President

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan led Father’s Day tributes across the UAE, sharing a heartwarming and patriotic message honouring fathers and recognising their role in strengthening families. The Father’s Day is celebrated on June 21 in the UAE.

In a social media post on his X account, Sheikh Mohamed shared a black-and-white photograph with his late father, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the UAE.

Sheikh Mohamed tweeted via the X platform: “A father is a support, a role model, and a symbol of giving and dedication for the happiness, stability, and safety of the family.”

Sheikh Mohamed added: “On ‘Father’s Day,’ we remember our father Zayed, may Allah have mercy on him, the symbol of fatherhood that built a nation with wisdom, mercy, love, and responsibility.

“We salute every father who follows this path; who cares for his family with love, instils authentic values and morals in his children, and opens doors of hope and future for them, so that our families always remain a source of strength for our society and the progress of our nation. May Allah bless fathers in the UAE and the world, and have mercy on those who have passed away.”
