Starting next Wednesday, June 24, until July 3, the end-of-year exams for the 2025-2026 academic year will be conducted electronically for grades 5 to 12, across various educational tracks (General, Advanced, Elite, and Applied) in government and private schools which follow the Ministry of Education (MoE) curriculum, according to the Ministry of Education.
MoE emphasised that teachers are not allowed to read central exam questions to students.
It also clarified that 12th-grade students enrolled in private education schools will take all their exams in government education schools, under the supervision and joint coordination with the School Operations Sector (SOS).
MoE stressed the necessity for students to bring their own computers during the exams, and clarified that the English language exam for 12th grade will be held electronically and will include a written part.
It is important to adhere to start and end times, not to use mobile phones or any unauthorised electronic devices inside the halls, and to organise student seating according to approved regulations, MoE affirmed.
The Ministry also called for documenting all violations immediately upon occurrence and reporting them via the "Tasaheel" platform, along with the necessity of recording daily attendance and absence through the approved electronic systems.
According to the Ministry, 12th-grade students in the General, Advanced, and Elite tracks will begin their Mathematics exam on June 24, followed by English on June 25, then Chemistry on June 26, Physics on June 29, Arabic Language on June 30, Islamic Education on July 1, and Social Studies on July 2.
Students will reportedly conclude their exams on Friday, July 3, with Biology.
As for students in the Applied track, they will begin their Applied Mathematics exam on June 24, then English on June 25, Applied Sciences on June 29, Arabic Language on June 30, and Islamic Education on July 1, and conclude exams with Social Studies on July 2.
According to the approved academic calendar, July 3 is the last day of the academic year for students in UAE schools, while the summer vacation for administrative and teaching staff begins on July 18.
Make-up exams will be reportedly held from July 6 to 9, with end-of-year results to be announced on July 12 and 13.
Retake exams will be conducted from July 14 to 17, and their results will be announced on July 20.
