This is how Al Taawun Square tunnel will look like after its completion by 2026 end

Following the directives of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to construct Al Taawun Square Tunnel linking Sharjah and Dubai to facilitate traffic flow, this is how the project will look upon completion by the end of 2026.

Sheikh Sultan had previously announced a series of projects to construct and develop internal and main roads connecting the emirates of Sharjah and Dubai at a cost of Dhs750 million.

Sheikh Sultan pointed out that Al Taawun Square monument, which was removed to implement a new tunnel to ease traffic flow between the two emirates, would be restored to its original location upon completion of the project.

He announced that Al Noor Road, coming from Al Arouba Street and leading to Dubai, would be opened at the end of this year.
