This came as part of SRTA’s ongoing efforts to develop intercity transport services and enhance the efficiency of the regional transport system with a view to keeping pace with the needs of travelers and providing a more flexible and comfortable travel experience.
Three bus trips from Sharjah to Muscat are made daily starting at 6:30am, 3:30pm and 8:30pm, providing multiple options for travelers for easier movement between the two destinations, it said.
In the opposite direction, from Sohar to Sharjah, two daily trips were approved at 7am and 1:30pm, while the trip from Muscat to Sharjah departs at 3pm, ensuring smooth traffic flow and the continuity of daily connections between the cities, it added.
Updating the trip schedules came as part of SRTA’s strategy aimed at developing regional transport services and raising their operational efficiency with a view to enhancing the position of Sharjah as a vital hub for transportation and logistics services at the regional level, said Eng. Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of SRTA.
