Saudi hospitality reaches sky high, and that’s exactly what happened with Captain Abdullah Al-Qahtani.
Captain Abdullah Al-Qahtani was on a recreational parachute flight over the mountain regions of Saudi Arabia when he noticed a man with a pickup truck parked on the edge of the mountain, enjoying the serene environment with his tea.
That’s when another young man spotted him from below and shouted an invitation for tea.
What might have seemed like a casual gesture was warmly accepted by the captain.
The brief invitation took a dramatic turn when Al-Qahtani circled the valley and landed near his host to join him for tea on the mountaintop.
Al-Qahtani wrote on X, “Among all the countries of the world... only in Saudi Arabia, even if you're in the sky, the generosity of the Saudis knows no bounds.
“I was paragliding when a young man on the ground saw me and invited me for tea. I readily accepted the invitation and landed next to him.”
The heartwarming moment quickly captured attention on social media, with many praising the generosity and welcoming spirit that Saudi Arabia is known for. The story reflects a deeply rooted cultural tradition where guests are honored and hospitality is offered without hesitation, whether on the ground—or even to someone soaring through the sky.
It was a unique encounter that showcased the kindness, spontaneity, and warmth of Saudi culture, highlighting how Saudi hospitality often feels boundless.
Only in Saudi Arabia can a simple act of hospitality turn into a remarkable story.
