The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments and Zakat in the UAE (AWQAF) announced Eid Al Adha prayer times for the year 1447AH/ 2026AD in the emirates of the country as follows:
Abu Dhabi: 5:51 am
Dubai: 5:45 am
Sharjah: 5:45 am
Ajman: 5:45 am
Umm Al Quwain: 5:44 am
Ras Al Khaimah: 5:43 am
Fujairah: 5:43 am
Al Ain City: 5:45 am
Al Dhafra Region: 5:56 am
Eastern Region Sharjah: 5:42 am
Taking into account time differences according to the official approved calendar.
937 mosques in Dubai
Meanwhile, the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai (IACAD) has announced that Eid Al Adha prayers will be performed in Dubai mosques at 05:45am and that more than 937 mosques are fully prepared for the Eid prayers.
IACAD added that "Muezzin Al Fareej" initiative will continue to recite the Eid takbeers and raise adhan inside the mosques.
698 mosques in Sharjah
The Sharjah Department of Islamic Affairs announced its readiness to welcome worshippers for Eid Al Adha prayers. They have designated 698 mosques throughout the emirate's cities and regions.
The department confirmed that the mosques are completely prepared. They have finished several preparatory tasks, including general cleaning and preventive maintenance.
The department has chosen over 90 mosques to give the Eid sermon in several languages for non-Arabic speakers. These languages include Urdu, Malayalam, Tamil, and English.
The department announced that it is actvely implementing the awareness and advocacy programme during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, including lectures and awareness activities about the virtues of these blessed days, the rulings and conditions of Eid Udhiya (sacrifice), and the traditions and etiquette of Eid.
